Any suggestions for a good stable bike rack for my 06 GT?

I borrowed a strap on model this weekend and it just didn't seem stable.

Anyone have experience / success with a bolt-on hitch type?

Some years ago my son and I drove from Western Washington state to Gainesville, FL in five days. We had a trunk mount rack and his bike on the back and had no problems, and that was when Montana had no speed limit.

I have used bolt on hitches from e-trailer.com on my '00 & '07 GT Vert when we had them and now on our '11 GT/CS. I carry a manual wheelchair for the wife when we have a lot of walking to do. I also have towed our golf cart to use at car shows to save her walking. They recommend a strap to the front edge of the trunk lid depending on the type bike rack you use. Just get a good quality bike rack. The hitch is the smaller box receiver also.

I went to uHaul and had them install a hitch, with the black diffuser on my car you can just barely see it in the middle. Then I got a rack made for a hitch, I don't have any pictures of it on the car, but it's very stable and easy to install
