Really - no one would notice? Anyone doing 80 in a residential area needs to be confined to a moped for life.

Difference is, he can get up to 80 MPH a hell of a lot faster in a sportscar than he can in a VW Golf so he has more opportunity to lose control. When I have kids, they will be driving underpowered rust buckets until they prove they deserve a better vehicle.
You'll REALLY like this video then!!

BTW driving an underpowered rust bucket will endanger your child's life far far worse than driving one with power in it. Imagine if they crash? That car will be a coffin, cuz you'll never get them out. Imagine how sh1ty it'll look in your driveway? Imagine the problems?... why do that to your kid and to yourself? This crash is getting exploited cuz it's a mustang crash, on a mustang board... where the demographic is 30+ and so it's easy to bash on this example. Meanwhile it's been reported that far too many times elderly drivers are worse drivers and more dangerous to themselves and others. I wouldn't be surprised in the next 10-20 years if you have to take a test to reaffirm your licenses every 5 years once 60 or 70 hits. READ IT

I have to agree on the old rust bucket statement. I recently seen a 59 impala go up against a 09 impala or Malibu and that old car got trashed. I'll try and find the vid
