Ok I didn't even order my car until 4/11, and picked it up two months later. The build date on my car's title is May 31, 2005, which is well past the date of the Strut Popping TSB. However, there is a most definate clicking noise coming from the front end of my car, sometimes only seconds apart. It happens all the time, not just when I'm turning the wheel one way or another, I even hear it when I am stopped. So I am wondering if anyone else's who's was built after the TSB date still ended up having the strut popping noise, and if not, is this another problem?, it can't be normal. Also from those who had the problem, do you think this is the same problem? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Turn off your A/C and see if it goes away. The compressor makes a loud clicking noise as it cycles on and off. Since you said you hear the noise even when stopped, I'm 99% sure that's what you hear. It's definitely not the TSB strut popping, you only hear that when turning the wheels hard at low speeds.

Ok thanks, I was thinking it may be the A/C too, because it sounds more like air being released, but I just wanted to check to make sure I didn't need to take it in. Next time I go out I'll see if it makes the noise with the A/C off. WIth it being so hot lately I've had the A/C on most of the time. Thanks and I'll get back to ya.

Definitely sounds like the A/C compressor. I can hear mine all the time. Didn't notice it at first, what with the stuts popping all the time and all.

The A/C sure does work well though... must be a powerful compressor.
