Strut Brace Question

I'm thinking about adding a FR strut brace.

This may be a silly question, but for those of you who have added a strut brace, did it affect the ride quality at all?

The general opinion is that it somewhat improves handling, but does it also make the ride any harsher? For my current purposes (long, highway commutes) the stock suspension is about as stiff as I want it right now, and I don't want to do anything to make it any harsher.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

You won't feel anything. In fact, you won't notice any difference whatsoever unless you're driving it at 10/10s in the twisties or on track. In fact, you don't need it unless you're driving it 10/10s in the twisties or on track unless you like the look.
