I would suggest to take the battery out and keeping it in a non frozen environment depending also on how cold it gets were u are at. Some might also say to put a trickle charge on it.

How many months are you going to store it for?

The longer the time, the more you will want to address. Like adding a fuel preservative to the fuel tank if you store it longer than 2 months. Putting it on jack stands to get the tires off the ground if you plan to store it for longer than 3 months. Trickle charge if less than 1 month and disconnect if longer.
Get desiccant for the interior to keep the interior from fogging up. Get a nice car cover as well to keep the dust off.

The car talk guys had a show where a guy asked this I think in the last 3 weeks on itunes. Just go get NPR's Car Talk. It's a good listen.
Basically disconnect the battery, plug up any holes (exhaust etc so nothing can get in and burrow or nest.) I forget the other recommendations but it sounded really good.
Good Luck.
