Stoptech Brake Kit Installed

Thanks to Josh at PMP I got a great deal on the Stoptech big brake kit

I know others have said it before but I will say it again...they have awesome customer service and I would highly recommend them!

Installation was pretty easy with good instructions to follow. And the brakes are niiice. Much more responsive feel... and they look pretty **** cool too!

Saw someone post about big brake kits. If you're still on the fence I would recommend the Stoptechs. I'm going to get the rear replacement rotors as well... but they are out of stock on them at the moment.

Here's some pics:

Looks nice! Especially with the Ford GT wheels.

I bought some of the Stoptech stock-sized cross-drilled rotors from the dream car factory guy on ebay. They look like very high quality rotors and would have definitely went with the big brake kit if I had the money.

That looks sick!!! I have always loved the Stop tech kit, I just wonder if they will clear my Foose wheels.

Stop tech makes Steeda and Roush's kits for them

If you go their site they have a sheet you can download and print...take it and stick it in your wheel well and you can see if they fit or not... that's what I did

Looks nice. What size wheels are you running. The only downside to the Foose Nitrous Wheels is the location of the valve stems. Not sure why they chose to stick it where they did.

I have heard that the Saleen 14" brake kit is made by stocktec...is that right? And if so...did you need anything to make those rimse clear?

Do you happen to know the specs on the rims and who sells that type of rim?

sorry for all the questions,
Alex

The Saleen brake kit is made by Stoptech... as is the Roush kit.

It's not one-to-one though... there are differences. I'm not sure about the Roush, but the Saleen 14" kit only has one two-piece rotor on the front. The other is a single-piece non-vented rotor. Saleen kits also had some issues with squealing.

As for specs on the rim... I'm not really certain what you mean. They are 18x9 for size. Ford sells the rim.
