In Dry weather and pavement these Pirelli's hold the ground and bite pretty good. In wet weather forget it, I was on the highway about my 2nd week with my car and I fishtailed through a small batch of water on the highway. Not good. hense why I don't take her out in rain anymore.

I've never noticed any noise. As far as wet traction, I think it's pretty good. I don't know how much traction you expect to have with 300 hp in the wet.

Wow not here either - these things are quiet compared to plenty of other tires I have heard...

exactly what the title says... i cant believe how easy these tires break in the rain... even my 92gt with goodyears had better traction... and the traction control is just point less....

How fast are you guys driving in the rain that results in loss of traction and fishtailing??? I picked up my car in December and have NEVER had ANY problems with loss of traction or fishtailing in the rain (we had lots of rain this year).
When I drive in the rain I keep it at a slow speed...usually under the limit while everyone else seems to drive faster then they do when it's not raining.

I've had mine since December, have used them regularly in wet and dry conditions, and they seem fine. That's not to say that there aren't better tires on the market, clearly there are. In the future, I'll likely trade up, but the Pirellis are OK for now.

I've never had a problem with the stock Pirellis in the rain (I did have a problem driving in 6 inches of snow once, but I blame that on even attempting to drive in 6 inches of snow).
I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult to fishtail it in the rain if I really wanted to, but like most others here I'm sure, I adjust my driving style accordingly in the rain.

Maybe if you didn't let all the smoke out of your tires you wouldn't be having problems!
I deal with snow every year, so losing traction is very common in any car... I think these tires have done very well in all weather, so far.

Yeah...that'll help.
I was following an 05 GT last night on the freeway. As good as the car looks, Carroll is right...the tires are too small. Some 275's/285's will make it HWP(height/weight proportional). Any tire you get will be a compromise in some area...price ,size ,rain, dry, wear, looks...what is most important to you and what are you willing to pay for? The stock tires are just too small , IMHO.

plain and simple this car is not made for winter driving... if anything i want a tire that is good in the rain as best a can be depending on conditions.. and really good in the dry ... other than that i would be happy... i just feel they break to easy in wet conditions...and as another point in the rain..also the car to me feels ready to break loose at any moment....which makes me feel alittle uneasy...
