STEEDA Air Filters Cleaning & Oiling

can anyone help me as to what the right procedure is to cleaning and oiling the air filters from steeda.
ok, i know it sounds dumb but the dircections say i have to put a certain amount of oil on the filters but it doesnt say what this certain amount is....
has anyone used the kits from steeda and how did they work, was it easy or hard?
i have ones in both the 2006 and 2003.

Gus, any help here?

i have the kit from steeda that has the pump spray cleaning bottle and the aerosole can for oil.

Go easy on the oil , too much will foul the MAF. Steeda just replaced my filter trying to correct a problem and to be honest I don't think they put any oil on it at all. As far as cleaning the filter , spray it down good with the cleaning bottle and rinse it from the inside out ...

That's why I don't like those type of filters (K&N, etc.)...if you over-oil you'll send oil to your MAF and screw the readings up...if you under-oil then you'll allow more dirt to pass through...I'll stick with the standard paper ones...
