Started my engine after 6 months in storage...
...it stared right away, without any issues, drove the car a couple of miles, didn't notice anything strange (besides my heart was beating fast, I missed her so mauch), so far so good (knock on wood)...
planning to do oil change this weekend and hit the road

Took mine out for first time yesterday. Had a float charger on it all winter. Started up fine and ran great. Bit of a burnt smell when I parked it. Got to remember to deflate the tires back to normal pressure.

I didn't disconnect the battery, you don't have to if you use battery tender, I am not sure how other chargers work

I used a battery tender (automatic) last year and it fired right up, no disconnection needed. I expect the same thing to happen when I take my car out of storage again in two weeks.
CANNOT wait!
