Do you have any available for test drive right now? Also, let me know when a Satin Silver GT manual w/ IUP & Shaker 1000 comes in.

How many people that are in phoenix would like to come see out Gt? Joe is coming down in a half an hour aprox 12:30. Give me a call and Ill be sure Im available.
I really enjoyed seeing the 05 for the first time. I had very hopes from all of the pictures and the hype, and it didn't let me down. I'm not a huge fan of the parchment interior, but I was very happy with the car. I thought the interior was nicely developed, and didn't feel cheap to me (although I haven't really been in a Mustang besides my 66). They let me fire it up, and it sounds great!!

Overall, I am very, very impress. Seeing it in person only worsens the desire.

Now if I could just test drive one, and see the red leather!

Clint -- it was nice meeting you!

Alright..I'm expecting to get completely flammed here. That said, I checked out Sanderson's GT last night..Joe, check your email, sent you pics..Anyway, I'm not a big fan of the IUP. The aluminum is toooo retro, and the aluminum on the rocker panels is a little too plain. I think the MyColor feature and the steering wheel upgrade are great, but haveta pass on the dash upgrade. :notnice:

after seeing it in person, i'm considering waiting until the 06's come out because I'm a little disappointed in the dash material, it's a little too primitive. By the way for those of you that are tall, there are NO worries for headroom. However, the tilt wheel may not come up far enough, and you MAY bang your right knee on the dash.. (I'm 6'5").

I'm still gonna test drive one when the dealers open up the gates. I may change my mind.

By the way, Clint, someone really needs to educate the older fella that opened the mustang for me last night, he thinks you're not getting any of them till April, and didn't know how to set the MyColor settings. I think his name was Ed.

I'll be sure to remind him what date it is when I drive mine off his lot in December!

let me try to figure out the scenario.... You came in asked for me and since I wasnt here they got my partner...? Ya Ed isnt the keenest guy on the new products, he missunderstood a Manager just like most of the older sales men here. What he really meant was that we probably wont have a good inventory of mustangs till February. Key word is GOOD! But what are you going to do. Not everyone can be as versed in the stang as most.

We probably wont have one to test drive for another couple weeks or so. Out of all of our Gt orders we only have one available for sale that isnt spoken for. Good news though is that we are going to have three V6's available for test drives. I know its a hundred hp short of the Gt but the Chassis is the same!!!!! Ill keep everyone as up to date as I can.

Clint,

Are you charging some sort of market value adjustment like Earnhardt's is trying to do?

Thanks,

Louis

I saw a V6 over at Earnhardt's on Saturday, and they wanted $25k for it! I believe it was a $2995 markup. The sales guy at Sandersons that was keeping a watchful eye on us (not Clint) expected there to be a markup on their's as well.

Actually, I'm one of the 5 people that lived in Wyoming that moved to Arizona. From one extreme to the other I suppose.

(Phoenix actually passed Philadelphia in population this year!! #5 with a fury)

There has been much discussion about Adendamizing the new Stang BUT after much thought Managment did decide NOT to mark them up. We have never done that so why start now. We didnt even mark up the T-Bird when it came out, most dealers put a $10,000 M.V.A.(Market Value Adjustment) on them. So Readers Digest version...... NO.

That's great to hear Clint! Pioneer Ford still hasn't received any (they're the closest dealer to me), so I don't know how they're going to handle the MVA idea. Sanderson just moved up in my book!

Went to the Earnhardt Ford dealership on Baseline on sunday, all they had was a v6 automatic, with bout 14 people crowded around it. Not to mention they were asking $2995 over msrp (25,083 for the total price). Was still fun to go around and sit in it and play with it.

Im not sure what Pioneer will do... But I would think that $3000 would be worth the drive!-------isnt it amazing the excitment about this car? Every day all day there is a crowd around it.

Lucky it's your day off?

I'm TAKING the day off when I get 'the call.' People at work would actually force me out the door to go and get it if I get 'the call' at work. They are anticipating more than I am (because I've been getting the run-a-round, they haven't).

Glad you got yours though!! Congrats!

Right on man

Yeah, I'd be willing to bet my boss would want to come with me when I get the call..he's a Ford nut but just bought a new SuperDuty. He'll have to live vicareously through me for awhile
