have to say great job on the picture taking.. everytime i see that red.. i really like it in some pics.. an in others it seems to bright (lipstick).. cant make up my mind.. what do you all think about that color red?
I think these pics were taken in the best lighting conditions for torch. Looking at those pics, I'd almost be tempted to change my redfire order.

But I know that it doesn't always look like that: [/b][/quote]
Sorry Dan, but you made the right choice. Redfire looks much richer and more sophisticated - and the metallic rules! I also think Redfire will stand up longer with less fading than Torch. Here in the great white north, UV is really hard on red cars, period.

Two best colors on this car, IMHO, Redfire and Titanium (next year).

Gimmie a Redfire with IUP, Interior Color Accent, the 18" chrome fanblades and some 265 tires! Add a cold air intake, headers, underpullys and exhaust good for about 350 bhp. Then throw in the engine cover Ford deleted and I'm set!

Incidentally, I just noticed that the fonts used on the gauges and the fonts used on the top of the shifter are identical. Both retro and both the same...nice touch!

OT: But does anyone know if there is any sort of flashing alarm diode anywhere on the dash to alert would be thieves that the car has an alarm system? Most cars have it, but I can't see it anywhere in any pics.

I wasn't really a fan of that color until I saw your pictures. That car just look great in any color.

How many people that are in phoenix would like to come see out Gt? Joe is coming down in a half an hour aprox 12:30. Give me a call and Ill be sure Im available.
I really enjoyed seeing the 05 for the first time. I had very hopes from all of the pictures and the hype, and it didn't let me down. I'm not a huge fan of the parchment interior, but I was very happy with the car. I thought the interior was nicely developed, and didn't feel cheap to me (although I haven't really been in a Mustang besides my 66). They let me fire it up, and it sounds great!!

Overall, I am very, very impress. Seeing it in person only worsens the desire.

Now if I could just test drive one, and see the red leather!

Clint -- it was nice meeting you!

LOL. Yah, I think I did too (btw, anyone see redfire under showroom lighting......OMG I saw an explorer when I ordered my 05....lets just say it sealed the deal)

That setup/mods would rock. I'll be bolting and exhaust on, 18's, 255-275's, maybe an intake in the future and that cover if offered. But nothing to void my extended warranty.

A 'female friend' of mine text messaged me from Earnhardt at Ray and I-10. Said she was looking at a Mustang at about 5:30 last night.

Should have asked her to take a picture and email it to me, but she's not that 'great' of a friend, if you catch my meaning.

More like a '3-Time Visitor of the Night' award winner.

The redifre is ok, but it wouldnt even be my second choice behind torch red. I have yet to see it on a new mustang, but have seen it on other vehicles. I am not sure that the redfire and the IUP accent package would look that great together. Two different shades of red. ALthought, at first I wasn't sure I would want the torch red with matching leather because it might be too much red. But now I am happy with the torch and the IUP accent package. Its just my thought though. I agree that 18" rims are going to make this car look amazing. But which stock rims to get on a torch red, that is the tough decision right now?!?!

I cant belive the press and the amount of people coming in to look at this car. There is a constant swarm of people all day. I didnt think that the word of mouth would bring this many people. Everyone says, "ya my buddy came in and looked at it so I HAD to come by". What does everyone else think that have seen or drivin, Car of the Year? I think Ford has it in the bag!!!

I work with Joe..and he was smiling ALL afternoon after getting back from Sanderson. I'm sure he's told you we have at least a 30 minute discussion first thing EVERY morning at work. The O5 is like an office obsession. I've been by Sanderson twice in the past few weeks, had a couple chats with G.R., and can't wait until they get their alotment of 05's.

Gotta test drive it though..I stand 6'5", and am very concerned about the leg and headroom.
