squeal from trans area

2007 mustang gt 48k miles. i have what some would think is a release bearing issue. When i start my car there is a screeching, squealing, screaming metal to metal noise coming from the clutch. normally a throwout doesn't sound this bad and the noise generally goes away when clutch is depressed, but mine doesn't. after the engine fully heats up... it dissapears. I know some have had an issue with the engine trans backing plate rubbing the back of the flywheel right? just trying to figure this out. have been trying to use search but wasnt coming up.

thanks everyone.

Probably pilot bearing. It's not common but can happen. I wouldn't rule out throw out bearing yet. Only one way to tell.. take it apart

It may be the engine backing plate issue. Had the same thing happen to me with the metal noise issuse and that's what the problem was.
