Spoiler Delete?

If it were me, and I found out that they were lying. I'd give them the chance to eat their words and give you the 05 w/out the additional $500. If they won't budge, I'd order the 06 from a different dealer, as I wouldn't want any of my hard-earned money going into their pockets. It's the Principle!

It is possible that (BEFORE THEY CALLED ME) they decided to ADD a spoiler to complete the sporty look before they put it on the lot.
It is also possible that they said tell the idiot WE ADDED it and see if you can bump him! He will be so excited about getting an 05 instead of waiting for his 06 he will jump all over it! (Of course they were right about this part!)

I totally agree with you. F that BS. I'd spend my money at another dealership. I'd tell the sales guy. Refund my deposit, I'll take my buisness elsewhere. All these deceptive practices should be punished.

Of course we know they WERE LYING..........
In his haste to cheat me he said "All I am going to do is add $500 to the price we agreed upon for your 2006 since we added the spoiler to this one." He showed me the buyers order with one sale price. My old figure plus $500. Since I was buying it at invoice plus.... I reminded him that there was a small difference in my favor on the 2005 invoice price. He blew me off and said this is what he got ok'd.
While I was telling them that the spoiler could not have been added by them and why..... I realized now seeing the sticker for the first time that this GT was loaded more than the one I ordered....... :scratch: .... I said nothing of this...... they joked about me "Catching Them" trying to cheat me but they took off the $500. Again I point out that in there haste to cheat me they missed the fact that THIS GT had a lot more on it than I ordered. They used my sale price from the order which did not include what now becomes my bonus -----> I got FREE Side Airbags, FREE Anti-theft, and FREE Wheel lock kit!
So long story, they got busted. I got $600+ options FREE. I am driving my new 2005 GT Vert. ALL IS FAIR IN THE WORLD!
