Hi Everyone,
I am going to get the intake cover for my 05, but am wondering where you all are getting the lettering to put on the sides of the cover to spell, POWERED BY FORD.

They are 1/2 x 11 inches. I ordered mine from the site mentioned elsewhere:

Kristi Hicks @ FastSigns in Marlton, NJ (856-985-8730). The cost for the pair was $12.93 mailed directly to me.

I did mine in black but I'm sure they can do any color you need. Here's my finished intake cover.

Nice job, Chris. Well done. This should have been a standard feature!

If it was a standard feature, we wouldn't all get to customize it how we like it.

What I meant was Ford should have added the intake cover as a standard item. And I like the finishing touches Chris added to his intake cover. Everyone should personalize their 'Stang!

I'm afraid you're out of luck! I ordered mine on May 21 from Latemodel Restoration Supply. But they don't list it on their website any longer! You might try calling to see if they have any left.

It's a:

LRS-8213FP 1994-04 Flamed Grille Pony $49.95

Latemodel Restoration Supply 1-866-507-3786

Good luck!

That has got to be the best looking cover I've seen on this board. Everyone else seems to be obsessed with placing huge cheese weiner 4.6 logos or other such things. Great looking cover, love the flaming horse, had one on my 2000 GT.

what did you use to attach it?
The Pony comes with an adhesive backing. Simply line up where you want to place it, pull off the wax paper backing and press on to the cover. The decals are self-stick as well.
