Does anyone have any information on Special Order Options for the 2005 Mustang or are Special Order Options a thing of the past?

No that is not what I am asking. You used to be able to order special exterior colors that were not listed in the standard order guide.

You just have to check the "fill in your own colour" box and write a description of the colour you want.

 

It depends on deposit and additional cost... I was tempted to order Competion Orange on my 05 but, I would have to wait longer -much longer (after March @ earliest), Pay a lot more -as much as Mystachrome(sp?) ($3,500) because the car body has to be pulled. (non-refundable/non-warranteed(sp?))

After the nightmare I went through w/ Jeep about a Silver Sahara... I didd't want to go through it again...
