When I got my 02 Supercharged Harley truck I recieved this in the mail shortly after. It would have been great if Ford would have offered them with the New Mustang. At the very Least they should Offer it with any upcoming Specialty editions. BTMO It's a Swiss Style Army Knife and case. Also a Plaque with My Name engraved on it with the Truck Serial Number. BTW I got the Plaque the wife got the Truck :bang:

That is cool. I remember when people were first getting their mustangs they were getting some little package in the mail. Some flyers/info and touch-up paint or something.

Not the same as what you got, but hey, I would have been happy with some free touch-up.

 

ya i remeber when i got my 99 i got a package like this in the mail
it had a very nice coffee table book, 3 cd's covering music from the 60s 70s and 80-90s, a keychain, and a 35th anniv pony sticker. i didnt get the die-cast though. I would have expected ford to do somthin for the new 05 owners similar to this at least

 

i know for awhile the harley pickups came with the extra stuff because the original show ones had a black tanneau cover that ford did not end up putting on the truck because of supplier problems

 

Ford has mostly cut out the gifts to save $$. They're loosing a $ billion a year on North American car operations right now.

 

Unfortuantely with the financial trouble that the big 3 are having I doubt we will see perks like this for a while.

They may do them for S/E's for the collectability.

It would be awesome if they did a bullitt again that it comes with some kind of special edition Bullitt DVD

 

when I picked up my vert in march, Ford gave me 2 stang caps, a black stang windbreaker jacket, bunch of "the legend lives" key chains
and Peter Jansen presented me with a red vert prototype diecast model. Oh, and a burned cd of crusin music lol.

In this day and age, we are lucky to get a hand shake.

I got touch up paint... but I had to order it from KC there Luckily, he's so cool, I was glad to order it from him. He threw in the '06 catalogs which make it more than worth it in my opinion.
