Hi all,
I am a dutch Mustangfreak and already own a 67 and a 99 Mustang and have imported a 2006 Mustang to the Netherlands in August 2008 to replace my 99 Mustang because Ford does not export the 2005+ models to Europe. It is a V6 Premium,Tungsten Grey,Pony+Interior Upgrade Package.Southern California Special with only 600 built!!!
Now i am wondering were the other 599 are driving around

You are correct on the SCS production numbers but the CE was limited to 400.

Hello
My father just recently passed away, and ny mother wants to sell his beloved Mustang. He has a 2006 Southern California edition, black with silver stripes. It has very low miles as it was a weekend driver and has been garaged. Any idea what it is worth or where I could sell. I can not seam to find any information on the Southern California Edition.
Thank you

Not to break your heart but its not worth much. It most likely a sticker on the car but its nothing special. It sounds like a base v6 with a decal. Sorry

Yeah from my quick search... I'd say priced the same as a normal V6... I'm not sure of all the differences... but it looks like just stripes...

Any one -owner ultra low mileage car, especially if under 10,000 miles, will have a nice premium attached to it over normal car price guides like KBB or NADA. Being a unique car will just add to the appeal for buyers.
If the car is truly in excellent condition and the mileage under 10k, I would ask $3,000 over what KBB considers an 'excellent' condition price in your zip code. There will be negotiations and it will be up to you to settle for whatever you feel is fair. I have been in the 'collector car' market for many decades and if you want to PM, feel free to do so.

SCS

I, too, am a proud owner of this special edition mustang. Yes, only 600 made, mine is same gray color and has all the trimmings inside and out of a CS.. I bought mine brand new off the showroom floor, the dealer told me AND showed me how this special package was modeled after the GT500 CS... other than the obvious, engine wise, lol, they were identical. Even had to replace the front bumper on it once, and was told when ordering ot, make sure I got the GT bumper bc any others wouldn't fit. The grill pattern is different as well, dead giveaway, sway bar suspension too, noticeable too... gt rims and last year of the Canadian built engine. The other obvious difference in MY V6 vs. all the other premium pony package mustangs on the lot was the extra $11,000 price tag, lol! So glad to see someone else out there with this rare beauty! I still have mine, she showing her age a little now on the outside, but has been a BEAST under the hood all these years. It was only last year in 2017 the transmission finally blew, never even showed signs it was going out, it just did when I tried to go to work one day. She has 170K miles now, her engine is still strong, I've even raced her against cars I shouldn't have beat, we are one, lol!

I wonder if these were factory specials, or regional/dealer-designed specials?
