Southern California '06 GT Purchase

Hi Everyone!
I am about ready to purchase a 2006 Mustang GT. Almost every dealer I have been to has removed the dealer markup from the purchase price. Most of the dealers I have been to though are pretty persistent on getting MSRP for the cars. A few dealers have said they will go below sticker, but won't give me a price until I am ready to purchase. I was wondering if anyone on this board has recently purchased a 2006 GT in Southern California and if so, did you pay MSRP or did you get it for less?. Any dealerships/salespeople I should visit or any I should avoid?
Thanks a bunch!
Michael
EDIT: I also have an X-Plan pin available.

Goto www.edmunds.com. If you look up Ford Mustang GT Premium Coupe there is a page that will give you the MSRP price (based on the options you choose) and what others are paying column in your zip code. Hope this helps.

I've received a couple of price quotes from SoCal dealers on
06 Stangs.
I only inquired about GT's.
New Century Ford offered $750 over invoice.
Ford West offered $1,300 off on a GT Premium.
Airport Marina accepts X-Plan on all Mustangs on the lot but not
on special orders.
Tuttle Click Ford in Chatsworth said they also would accept X-plan.
Simi Valley Ford had a 2-day sale where all in-stock Stangs were at invoice. 2005's and 2006's.
Mossy Ford also offered x-plan.
