SouthBay Ford

I have an 07 GT/CS and its almost time for its first oil change and service I was wondering if anyone has had any expirence with SouthBay Ford service dept. and is there someone there that you would recomend to see as a service advisor that does not questions some light mods and also see for warranty issues. Any help would be great thanks.

why would you go to the dealership to have it serviced on a new car? Just do it yourself or look around for a cheaper place. Dealerships overcharge.

Its like $40 something for one from ours with factory synth blend, a decent motorcraft filter(not a crappy Fram one), fill all fluids and check the basics on the car.

I was at Cerritos Ford and can highly recommend them! Oil Change / Service for 31.45 incl. tax and they washed the car afterwards.

I never trust anyone else to change the oil (invariably they assign that job to the new young guy on the mechanical staff)...so they'll either overfill or underfill, overtighten or undertighten the filter/drainplug...do the job yourself and you'll have the satisfaction knowing it's done right...you can get Motorcraft 5w-20 synthetic blend at Wal-Mart and the Motorcraft oil filters can be found at Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc. While you're at it pick up the air filter and cabin air filters from the dealer and do the job yourself.
AND DON'T let others wash your vehicle...you'll end up with all kinds of fine scratches all over the car. Okay, I'll get off of my soapbox.
