SOS pillar pod and 3 gauges?

need to hook up the lights on new gauges to factory dash lights so they only light up when lights are on. ordered the speedhut legacy gauges with black background and white numbers and cobalt backlite. did a search and could not find the info, i recall i think the wire yellow with blue stripe but was not sure. Help

Where are you tapping into the illumination wire? What general area of the dash?

Ok

I've tapped the dimmable wire over in the info/reset buttons for stereo dimming

Seems like that was a yellow blue wire. Made a thread about it a while back.

I've got the SOS gauge pod and I can't remember where i tapped in at. Mine won't dim though. They come on when lights are on. Probably should fix that.

all done, everything buttoned up. sending units are a POS, dumped 1 1/2 gallons of antifreeze when i pulled plug in the block. i used a trans. funnel with hose to catch all but about a couple of ozs. in a 3 gallon bucket. pulled the oil filter for more room to hook both sending units, had to do over would put the new in place of the factory unit and just ground out the wireto the dash. speedhut gauges look great and can dim with factory dimmer switch.
