ohh this would be like the 1st v6 ive seen with GT fogs....i went to a dealer last night. they really upset me by telling me they r selling the car $3000 over sticker and im like yea right. then they tell me insurance is 9500 a year and im like this is a mustang not a ferrari. they gave me rediculous numbers soo i had to show up the salesman. anyways the test drive was AMAZING!!

$9500 / year ??? Krikey! That's $800 per month! Try Geico or something. When I was 20 I had a brand new LX 5.0 with a couple of tickets and I was paying around $200 / month. That WAS 1990 however, but converting that to 2005 dollars, no way it should be over $350 or so. You could also buy a $1500 beater as your "work" car and designate the Mustang as the "pleasure" car. I did that when I owned an LT-1 Vette and the insurance dropped about $150 per month.

 

Tropical Ford in orlando puts fogs on their V6s as well. When I went up there last month I saw them.

 

Kinda like the Ferrari kits they had in the 80s for Pontiac Fierros.

Fogs do not make a GT, the engine does!! If someone wants fogs on a V6 fine. Does not mean they have a make believe GT. Lets not be snobs. :nono:

 

I saw a V6 in Toledo Ohio today at Kistler Ford with a hood scoop on it.

I guess its supposed to make it look faster. The salesman tried to tell me that Ford put it on that way at the factory. Whatever!

lol the engine really does make the car. honestly when we were testing i couldnt believe it was a mustang. i was like NO WAY NOOOOOO WAY!! and then im like YEA WAY AND ITS GONNA BE MINE!!

 

I got a '98 GT when I was 19, worth around $19,000 at the time, and my insurance was around $1800 per year. Unless your record is awful, it won't approach $9500. Just another salesman full of sh*t.

 

i want gt fogs on my v6 soooo bad, the fogs make it look Meaner and since i want a GT but its to pricey this will make me happier if they have it (or i can request it to be done) at my dealership

 

i agree...when i see V6s on the road I always thing "god those look wimpy"

the fogs add A LOT to the front.

With fogs on a V6, youll be just fine

 

Well I when to the dealership the white V6 with GT fog lights and blue GT 350 stripes and Xenion back spoiler , with bullitt 17" wheels on it, was sold by high school girl this morning sold for $23,567.00, but they are doing a sliver V6 on monday and body shop guys let me watch them change over to like GT, I get pics & step by step how they do it.

I talk with GM he said only the dealers have most sales on05 Mustangs can do it.

 

I bought my mustang there. The salesman told me they could add them for $800-$1000 :nono: I want some fog lights, but will probably end up with a Mr. Wick mod. Trying to figure how to center them besides the Mustang emblem.
