"As of some-date-in-the-future..."
Sorry if this is a repost, but I thought it was really odd and was wondering if it's a bug or what. For a while I have been hearing "As of March 10th your vehicle is scheduled to be build the week of March 28th." But this morning I got "As of April 2nd your vehicle is locked-in and is scheduled to be built the week of March 28th."
WTF?
Today is March 22nd, how can it be "as of April 2nd"? "As of a-date-after-the-build-date your car is locked in to be built."
Anyone else ever get this?

I swear she uses a random number generator for dates. because I'll get anywhere from 7 days before the date I called to 14 days after the date I called.
ERL has personality issues on somedays. I usually wait until Thursday and she's usually on the ball.

Yes. That is normal. See the link in my sig. That is probably the day your car will start production. I wouldn't be surprised if your actual build date was 4/4.
Once your car is "bucked" the message will probably drop the "locked in" portion.

for what seems like forever now

hey Moze- StangNut is correct, the future date of april 2nd that the evil one is giving you is the date your car begins production. If you call ERL on 4-3 she'll most likely be telling you that as of 4-3 your car has been produced.
mustangshadow- call your dealer to see if he/she can tell you WHERE your car is... My car was shipped convoy carrier on the 3-3, then as of 3-4 shipped via rail, then arrived at ramp on 3-8, then on 3-9 that crazy robot %$#&^ was telling me that the car was back on the rail! On the 14th I called ERL and heard "shipped via rail" again so i called the dealer, and guess what? My car was delivered to the dealership on the 13th, so in my opinion, you cannot believe everything that ERL tells you...Anyway, our cars were probably built the same week and shipped convoy the same time, and we are both in Florida... you should have your car by now. GOOD LUCK!!

Yeah this is happening to me too, last week the lady started saying "As of March 24th your car is locked into production for the week of 3/21". My husband when to the dealer and had him look it up on Tuesday 22nd and on the screen it said "bucked", my husband even saw it. Maybe the March 24th is the day it finishes production?
The robot lady is still saying the same thing today.
They gave me an ETA of April 7th.

Thanks.
I think bucked actually means everything is in place for your car to start production.
I don't think you'll get a bucked message. Look at my dates. I put every message in there word for word. The only way I knew I was bucked is my salesman (Karpro) told me.
Also, I never got a produced message. Even once my car arrived, it still said shipped via rail. I don't know how long it sat at the final rail yard, but it only took a few hours to get from the ramp to me.
