A few pics of my Vapor/Chamois.

I absolutely love this color combo, but I hear a fair amount of "are those seats yellow...?" from people who don't share my tastes!

 

That color combo really looks exotic and sophisticated with the Vapor color! There are always going to be people who just don't get that Chamois color yet these same people will drool over any Ferrarri or Masarati with the same color interior...

 

Loving this color interior, anyone know if they're going to carry it over to the 2010+ Mustang?

 

I actually like that interior color. It kind of reminds me of an exotic Italian interior color.

 

I for one really do like the Chamois interior. The upcharge in 08 for Chamois was $395 as the "Premier Trim Package", same is true with the Crimson interior. So $400 more and no more leather content (ouch).

 

Especially with Torch Red, then all you need is for the pony emblem to stand on it hind legs over a yellow background.

 

its not even available in the 09 Mustang. it was only offered 2 years. 07 and 08..

People are shocked when they see mine and ask who did the custom interior..

The total apromiximate made of my 07 Redfire convertible with a spoiler delete is 15 or so..

 

other features of the premier interior package is also the STITCHED (with real thread) dash pad, arm rests and console lid.. as well as extra shifter aluminum including and ALL aluminum shift handle and stainless pedal pads like a GT 500. Its quite a bargin considering the replacement dash pad is $1000 by itself from Ford..

 

Eh? I must have one of none, then. Mine's an '09...

I really like the two-tone interior, but only on a car with a black exterior. For some reason I'm not a big fan of it on other colors...

 

odd. Cause the 09 Ford mustang brochure that I have does not specify chamois for one of the premier packages colors.. In fact it says that there are only 4 combos under the premier color combos and the ones listed are not chamois. BUT searching for the 09 order guuide it sure looks like you can get chamois in the 09./ Wow, big mistake in the brochure. My mistake for believing em too! lol. I think Ford did not want to not offer the chamois for 09 but at the last minute left it in.

wow, you guys are gonna have some RARE cars. Spoiler delete, chamois and vapor.. Very cool.

 

I wonder if they did that on purpose to get rid of the supply of chamois seat skins and door panels. Maybe it wasn't popular enough to feature as continued production.

Anyway it sure is a welcome break from the bland mass production rental car look of beige and gray.

The way the Mustang has been going in recent years, they may as well leave the cars built incomplete because we all end up adding stuff they didn't finish off, or changing something they cut corners and skimped on. Maybe the 2010 will finally look more complete without having to change or add as much.

Could be. I actually wanted to order a Vapor/Chamois '08, and at that time the brochure said Vapor was one of the few colors you COULDN'T GET with Chamois (but I'm not sure I ever looked at the order guide)...

Anybody got a Vapor/Chamois '08?

I'd be worried about getting it dirty all the time and then finding the right cleaner for it, but it does look sharp.

 

Did I mention mine will be a Glass Roof, too??
