Ford requires that all new vehicles are full upon delivery, as well as cleaned and delivered with 2 sets of keys/remotes...if your dealer did not fill 'er up, go back (empty) and get them to give you a fill.

 

LOL. This way too funny. All I can say. Upset over $20.00 worth of gas. Come on guys. My wife reads this forum sometimes and now she is making fun of me over this topic. Give me a break. B)

Mine came in with "10 Miles to Empty." I asked the dealer why did I pay for a full tank, but get an empty one. He smiled and handed me a voucher for a free fill up at the Sunoco station across the street. I realize it wasn't to free though.

 

Canada of course, only thing is up here they have a $50.00 printed on them

 

After I was complete with my transaction my sales rep drove with me to the gas station and filled it up to the brim

I got taken to the gas station when we signed off......Got a free fill up which I promptly burned off in 72 hours.

I stop the car, and the stereo was still on. After I learned a new curseword, the salesman finally informed me it was SUPPOSED to do that. NOW I love it.

 

You also still have power to close the windows if you turned the ignition off before closing them. Pretty cool!

 

Dealer followed me to the closest gas station to pay for the first tank of gas. Sure I was charged on the invoice but hey, at least it was half the price of a full tank.
