Just noticed that on my Vehicle Order Confirmation it shows 11 gallons of gas for $21.23 included in the price - my DORA, however, shows only 2 gallons for $3.86. Same price per gallon ($1.93), but apparently I get 9 gallons less at delivery (assuming it's ever delivered). What's up with that??

you go out the door with a tank of gas- you think YEA free, but in reality- its on the window sticker before you even sign the papers...
I paid @21.22 for my tank.

My DORA said the same thing. My dealer told me that I needn't worry, it would have a full tank of gas when I picked it up. I think most dealers do that. Big of them considering I am spending over $30k on the car.

I am pretty sure if they shipped with a full tank they would have to be shipped as a hazardous material.

What's the problem here? I don't seem to understand it... The car needs gas so you buy it.

I think in Iowa it is against the law to sell a new car without a full tank.

People are running out of things to complain about it seems, so they have to start nitpicking over $20.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I guess that's when you know it's a good car.

I only got 3/4 of a tank from my dealer. Sales guy said it kept cutting off on him before it was full. I haven't had any problems since then, so maybe it was just a certain pump he was using.

I would pay for two tanks of gas if they would just build my car.

Heck I'd give $20 just to hear the evil lady say my car has been serialized.

Got a full tank, wax job, and a dinner at Leal's for me and the missus ... still no touch-up paint like some are getting though.

Ford isn't making you wait months, all the other people ordering the car you want is whats making you wait. So blame all the other people on the forum!

When mine came in, I the empty light was flashing. Mine was also one that was delayed and tested, so that may be why. My dealer gave me a cupon to go up to the marathon around the corner for as much gas as it took to fill it, so I put in the premium gas, it came to liek a 40 dolalr bill.

Good!

I think Ford should Strategically place refueling stations every few miles along the road so we can get gas when we need it!
