So, if Chrysler can, why not Ford?

(I dunno where to put this, so it goes here for now.)
I know, it's more like an apples to orangutans, but go with me on this:
http://www.allpar.com/cars/lx/dodge-charger.html
And there you will find the wrongly named Charger coming soon, and they've got the Daytonas a-comin.
Now these Daytonas will be Go Mango! (a nice orangy bronze, I think) and Top Banana. It's only for these Daytona cars, and these cars will be only in these two colors, Mango! first.
Ford has the Screamin' Yellow, but the Emberglo/Blazing Copper isn't here for '05, or, likely, '06 either, which is kind of silly since the Mazda gets that paint in the same plant. (Guess I don't understand the problem. It's *JUST PAINT*.)
Point? None, really. But I am wondering how many of those Daytonas are going to be built out of the whole of the Charger fleet, how much extra they'd cost. And then why doesn't Ford do something similar. They're only dressed up regular Chargers. Why not a special set of Mustangs be built with Blazing Copper? (or Autumn Orange, Calypso Coral, Emberglo... You get the idea.)
/ok, ok, allright, I know, enough with the Emberglo already... But Ford won't gimme a straight answer on this! (sigh)

More colors would sure be nice, but I think it falls into the same category as all the other "why didn't Ford offer this as an option" discussions. Funny how $$ is always the manufacturers reason, but I think most people would be willing to spend a couple hundred dollars for some stuff. I think IUP is a perfect example. I'll just take my Sonic Blue and be happy that I was even able to get that.

I actually like the look of the Charger, my only gripe is there isn't a 2-door version available. Why must every car that comes out be retro? The Charger looks a lot more "mean" than the GTO. I don't think too many have a huge problem with the '04 Mustang and it's not retro.

Yes, I think reviving an orange and maybe a grabber blue or/and a grabber green for a SE Mustang would :headbang:

Oh my god, those new 'charger' things are REALLY an insult to the original. Now that I see it with the original Muscle Car decals, I really can't believe they actually think this car looks good. It's so absurd. Thank god Ford at least doesn't have a complete retard in the design department.
I agree the grabber colors will be very cool on the new Mustang. But I think they're waiting to put them on a new Mach 1 or Boss. Just like in the late 60's.

people say the charger has the retro look, i dont see it, i just see a modified dodge ram front end on a body of a Chrysler 300
not the best chop but shows that the Charger had lots of potential
