So I ran over a racoon
And it busted out my bottom grill when then got ran over and destroyed also the large black plastic cover that goes under the radiator and bumper was broke also. Where can I get new ones and how much will it cost me?

what a drag but the up side is there are plenty of parts out there now. Check local bone yards, craigs list and fleebay, Those are usally my first three choices. Newpartstakeoff.com or something like that might have what your looking for. I say slap a roush front bumper on there and call it done.

I replaced same parts on mine, a week later, groundhog had a bad day...luckily my bumper/grille/shr inserts were ok this time, but the week old 45.00 'deflector' was toast, and sheared a couple fenderwell pushpin/rivets...coulda been worse- glad I'm not a groundhog or raccoon

I have had some luck checking the websites of local mustang clubs in their "For Sale" sections. I did this damage late last Fall at night - guess this was not this groundhog's "Day"

Hitting critters is expensive. Watch the parts fly here.

HAHA! The first and second times were due to the front bumper grabbing some rebar from the concrete curb when backing up. Third was hitting some deep water at a good clip. Yanked the cover right off the car when I hit the water.

I creamed a bunny rabbit once. It jumped out from behind a fence into the street and I couldn't do anything. It was small enough that it didn't do any damage to my car, but man, was it nasty!

Ha ha, believe it or not, it looked worse, but that's close! It was small enough that it went under my bumper and got shredded by my car's undercarriage. Looked like a pancake.

Chipmunk took out my lower grill insert, haven't replaced it yet, probably just going to wait until I swap bumpers later on. It was the only thing it damaged, but wow did it shatter it pretty well.
Worst was 10 years ago in a crappy hatchback, an opossum with its family on its back ran out in front of me late at night at about 50 mph. One of them got caught in the front right caliper for the next two miles. Me and my friend could hear its bones grinding down on the rotor and all I could do was cringe in silence. I'll never get that awful sound out of my memory.

I hit a rabbit a few weeks back. The CDC classic chin spoiler folded back and then snapped forward. No cracks, but the clearcoat was a spidered. I didn't notice it for about a week when I washed it and the sun just hit it right to show off the little cracks. I just got it back from the body shop, all fixed for my $100 deductable on insurance.

I was in HS living in Lower Upstate NY, driving a mint condition '85 Olds Cutlass Supreme. She was simply cherry! Drivign down a back woods road I had a herd of deer run out in front of me. The scene was macabre. Silver was splattered red and looked like it went eight rounds with Tyson. The family of deer was smaller by four. After dealing with the State Troopers and getting my friend's dad to haul away the dead I drove silver home to park her in the garage. Took about two weeks and she was beautiful again... long live big cars and their protection!
