I see plenty of people goint to the track. My question is how much $ does it cost to run a 1/4 mile strip. Or how about an actual road racing track. Am I saying this right. Probably not. What do these cost. Just curious.

Most dragstrips have a "test & tune" night and you can usually get in as many passes as time allows for $10 or so. You can enroll in a high performance driving school on a road course (with instructors) for around $250-$300 per two-day event.

Down in South FL at Moroso it is $15 for Test and Tune. Depending on the night, you will get 7 runs, or 1. Seen the line to run a 1/4 mile long, forget that mess.

Check with car clubs in your area. My Cobra club (SCMC) and the the local Mustang club both host track schools here in the Carolinas. BMW & Porsche clubs are also a good bet, and most clubs welcome other makes to help fill their enrollment spots. HTH!
