I read your original post.

You have no idea the amount of dirt that ended up on the claybar.
I washed the car twice with Dawn detergent, then did the claybar and still had a lot of crap embedded in it. I wanted to start out with totally clean paint before I wax, otherwise you are just waxing over the dirt.
