OK guys and gals----now the deep South is getting a taste of what you guys up North have been telling about hazardous driving conditions...

It's been sleeting and snowing in the New Orleans area most of this afternoon....

heck has officially frozen over...this is the first Christmas snow in over 150 years...

Keep those ponies in the stable this afternoon and tonight.

Brrr....

It snowed a little here in Houston yesterday. Not enough to stick to the pavement but snow was caked on my car. Today it is Sunny and 32F

Well Mark, I know you're tucked in for the night.

Heard Houston got 1.5 inches of snow yesterday in certain areas.

All of S.E. Louisiana is basically shut down; we are totally unequipped for icy conditions; people here can hardly drive when it rains.

Look out Mississippi, Alabama and the panhandle of Florida--it is headed your way.

Keep those ponies warm and dry until tomorrow.

You are truly a Southern Belle, April.

You need to post your pic with Eleanor at the Sticky thread.

Soon soon-not today - I feel a super early sleep time coming on. No pictures when I wanna curl up and sleep....
I just cooked a million course meal and opened presents and cleaned up all of it.....I am too tired to do anything............
Today is the first day the car hasn't even been cranked! You know I am tired if I don't even take her out of the garage, I bet she feels abandoned.....

Don't know how you do it, Daniel. Once in a blue moon is enough for us.

As I've said before, I'd much rather be washing cars and mowing the lawn in December/January, than shoveling or blowing snow. Brrrrrr....

It looks pretty when it's falling, but you can keep it.

My driveway is frozen over with a sheet of ice on it. Got the 65 fastback tucked warmly and safely in the garage.

Glad the 05 isn't built yet; wouldn't dare take her out in this weather.

In regard to the weather, I'm with April, and it's not really too cold outside now. Richmond had a dusting of snow a few days ago but it has already melted.

I fear these message boards will be filling up with stories of cracked up '05 Mustangs and near misses over the next few months before we start hearing stories of people enjoying their new Detroit iron again...

Thanks, Canada! B)

I truly LOVE Canada, :moose: but can we return that gift? heh heh heh

Winter seems to have come rather early and with a vengence this year...

How do you folks deal with all this white stuff? I grew up in New York and saw my share of snow, but I don't think I've got the patience for it anymore. Especially when you need to get somewhere!

That's part of the reason I'm keeping my Audi with all-wheel drive until the Spring. I don't want to get used to driving a new car in all of this slop.

Not snowing in Orlando but raining up a storm. Not to cold around 50 during the day and tomorrow's outlook is the same as today.I didn't get my car out today, have only put 150 miles on it in the month and a half so it doesn't get out much even in good weather. It did get wet as the garage door dripped on it when I put it up so I will have to clean it up tomorrow.

Thanks and all. But I think I will be returning it tomorrow when the stores open back up.

It hasn't done anything here since Wednesday yet you still have to get a running start when going up the hill in front of my house. Because it hasn't been warm enough for the ice under the snow to melt.

I am with April. I LOVE summer. I LOVE the heat. I want snow ONLY for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas Everyone & Happy Holidays.
Drive safe & be happy.
