snow...

well the weather guessers had called for some flurries starting 8-9 tonight- but by 3 this afternoon we had a couple inches on the ground/salted roads...shoulda known better than to drive the mustang 'one more day'. left it at work, probably for a few days at least- heck with this typical crazy Ohio weather might be a couple weeks. never had it out in the slushy/salty roads in 5 years, dont want to start now. just feels funny with it not sitting home in the garage

I am sooo ready for summer.

Wow Tim, talk about rock and a hard place. I wouldn't have wanted to drive home in that crap today either, but I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing it was just sitting at work.

I couldn't agree more. This winter has been brutal and wicked long. My 08 is still sitting in storage, waiting probably another week or two until I know we won't see anymore white stuff. Can't wait for summer! ...Opening Day is just a few days away too, which is great. Baseball, Beach Trips and cruising in the Stang, gotta love summer!

its not that bad- weve got a unused building, my boss is cool- was waiting for my wife to come haul me home- he said, well here, lock it up in the other building...theyve got security/surveillance stuff too, so its in as safe a place as at home I reckon- just seems weird leaving it elsewhere.
back in 82 or so when I was driving the 69, I rented a garage with a buddy, had my 69 mustang, his 69 camaro and 66 vette sitting across town over the winter, we were both kinda paranoid, often saw each other driving by the place even though it was a mile or two out of the way

stupid thing was, leaving this morning Paula said it was going to snow later 'tonight' so I actually started to get in the mercury- then thought, oh, ill be home before dark, was sure they wouldnt salt...DOH!

OMG, how did you folks survive ?? Maybe you can apply to Obama for federal aid, or call Al Gore and ask him where the "global warming" has gone....

LMAO!

kinda funny, March ended with snow on the ground, cold- but last year was record at 83! global warming/global cooling, whatever. I'm sure we're affecting the climate, but some days reality seems to poke holes in all the best theories dont it

Ironic, we've had unsinkable ships, triple redundant cooling systems for safe reactors, yet the public suffered the consequences of the 'oops' part left out of those equations - then theres all the businesses popping up to fight global cooling (in the 70s-80s), now its global warming driving things like corn ethanol that make no sense (but lots of dollars), yet the public has/will suffer the economic consequences...then the silliness: california wanting to ban dark colors for cars, other things that were very well thought out/researched 'proven' ways to help...hard to believe anything anymore, as everything seems to always distort things for economic gain of only certain companies.

Well anyway, the snow will be gone soon...cant wait to add a little global warming by leaving a little pile of rubber at the dragstrip

Hang in there and things should be better in a few months!!

So, I just read on CNN that Massachusetts could get a foot of snow today....please tell me that's an April Fool's joke. I don't live in MA, but if they can get a foot of snow in April, then I'm sure that someday Michigan could too. Ugh!

Well, the CNN report wasn't too far off. I got little over an inch here on the CT border and that was gone by evening. But in the northern part of MA near the VT/NH line some areas got 12-15 inches............

It's New England, if you don't like the weather, wait a couple hours.... it WILL change !
