So ive given up on white stripes
Now I have accepted that it will never happen. Plus the black has grown on me, since it goes look meaner. White would be good, but I think people are right, my black convertible top will always skew it to black.
Now... I've decided that I'm going to get some all season tires to deal with the possibility of light snow...
So it's wheel shopping time.
Since the American Racing Shelby Torque Thrust M in 20" does clear my brembos, they will be the wheel.
Now for the proper retro look no matter the color, I will scuff the centers to a matte finish.
Now begs the question.... What color? Since either will work I'm undecided. Matte anthracite looks like clean fresh magnesium, and the matte black would look like magnesium that's oxidized a bit...
PS, my car is going to looks awesome.

I've been mentally speccing up my ideal '14 (CT/CS, in silver with matte SuperSnake stripes FWIW) and the wheel choice was buggin' me. They had to be black, but also deep dish, which narrows down the options. In my mind, I'd decided on 20x9 and 20x10 Torq Thrust Ms...........but, like you, I'd want them matte black rather than gloss.
How about plasti-dippiing a set of black ones? Not sure how hard wearing the stuff is on wheels, but should be a cheap option to match the stripes.

Black is getting old...fast. It was popular for the last few years, and now everyone seems to have them. Go with something new; make you're car stand out from the boring rest of them.
Since you've got the black stripes and the black details of the 2013, I'd go with a gloss black wheel to tie everything together. The matte finish will look like they always have brake dust on them, regardless of color.

Danielle, if the black stripes on your car have a gloss finish to them(?), then you should go with a gloss finish on the wheel.
That way everything ties in together with the gloss black rear light section to create a unified appearance, if you follow me ?
Just my thoughts on the matter Danielle for that absolutely stunning car of yours.
