smart junction box
You have to have a global diagnostics module(I think that is what it is called). About the only place you will find it is at a Ford dealership. I would assume they are pretty expensive. The thing is that only gets you access to the SJB. The codes to program it is a different story. When I added the foglights to my 06, I used the factory harness instead of the after market one. So to get the fogs to work I had to have the SJB programmed to avcivate them. I wound up going to three dealers before some one could activate them. Ford would not give out the codes for the fog lights. What they wound up doing is pulling the code from a car with them and uploading it to my car. So if my SJB goes kaput and they cannot pull the code from it I am screwed. I will have to pay $80 to get it reprogrammed again.
