Silver boring? I don't think so, mine was striped yesterday, getting window tinting today. Will post more pics soon. You could come up with a lot of descriptions for this car, boring it's not.

Personally, silver is just too plain for my tastes, but, when I saw it in person it actually looked really good. Its a very light silver, no grey in it hardly at all, and I was surprised at how good it actually looked in person.

When was the last time you went out with a hot date dressed in Silver?

They are vinyl, charcoal metallic. I haven't seen it yet, just these pics sent to me by the shop that did the work. I'll post more pics once I get here home but I'm in no hurry as it's snowing AGAIN.

Black was always my favorite color but I got silver b/c its easier to keep clean and I am a clean freak when it comes to my car. I love it so far!
By the way I am thinking of doing stripes a lot like that. Any info you have (cost, etc.) would be apperciated. Thanks.

Thanks

I am getting unburied painted 1970 mach one stripes. Costs more, but they can't catch on you or peel off. Burial involves a new clearcoat at $1,100 Soon enough...
The vinyl is very pretty as well.
Painted costs a couple hundred more, takes more time as well.
Vinyl runs from what I have heard around $400 and is quicker done.

Vinyl is quicker, less expensive and looks great, however it is not permanent. That can be viewed as being good or bad. I view it as a positive. They're guaranteed for 7 years and I'm told that you can remove them years later, wax your car and you will not be able to tell they were there. I like having that option and at approximately $500, I consider it a bargain.
If you know what you want, money is not an issue and don't expect to change your mind, paint would be the way to go.

almost all colors are common with the mustang, with a few exceptions. I dont see how black or red is any less common than silver.

All comes back to personal preference, don't it?
I think I considered about 4 or 5 colors over the last few months, but I keep coming back to Silver. That's what I'm going to get. I think its...subtle.

Silver was my choice also. I have so far found it very easy to maintain. Dave I love your stripes. They look great. I plan on doing the same thing in the spring just so it don't look like all the other Silvers on the road.

that may be so on other cars, but i've gotten ALOT of attention. i think it brings out the detail of the lines better.
