This shouldn't take long, gt 4,6 2005 weight?
My registration paper mentions 1550 kg (2005 GT Premium automatic).
Have a look here, maybe you can buy the car someplace else in the EU and transfer it to NO:

The GT starts from EUR 35,400 and the V6 from EUR 29,100, including import, registration (German) and VAT.

Found some prices in canada on mobile.de 25 300 euro minus candian VAT
My idea is to ship it to Norway and only buy it , pay VAT and shipping
Then it would only be 32000,-euro
to run it thru customs and pay taxes is only needed if I want permanent reg. plates on it. I'll use my lazy old heep on ordinary stuff , but when I feel like going nuts , I buy day-plates for the short period of time that I will need plates. In 5 years time the customs fee is way lower and I might go for permanent plates. customs fee now is 95 000,- Euro
How much is canadian VAT?
The price was for a 305HP GT

We pay taxes on these specs on a car:
Engine volum cc
Horsepower
Weight
Then you get a percentage off the fee based on how old the car is
new is 0% and 5 years is 50 or 46% and so on.
A new mustang with 305 HP is 40 000$
Weight 20 000$
Volume cc 40 000$
Aprox.
The funny thing is , when a car is older than 30 years old, its a veteran and there is no taxes at all.
And they say todays taxes is to reduce the amount of big cars with big machines. Somethin about saving the environment.
What makes a car veteran in Norway? The age of the frame.
Then one would think one could import frames from the US and ship engine in parts in the same run, but then it has to go thru a kind of DMV check and those guys dont always play nice.
Ahhh...
Its a beautiful country
