Should I flush the radiator fluid?

Bought a used V6 2006 Mustang. 90k miles and so far it drives awesome. No leaking, no problems with anything. Drove it 200 miles on a trip and not a single problem with anything. During one of my daily routine check ups before adding the first mod ( k&n intake ) I saw the radiator with like a brownish color.. ( see pic ) .. Is this something I should worry about? Should I change this before installing the first mod?

Thanks for the help as always!!

I don't see it as an urgent issue. I just hit 80k, and I've only changed once. Although I do plan to change it maybe later this year...brake fluid as well. My brakes feel like ****.

I'd flush it and change it. Remember to use distilled water unless you buy 50/50 pre mix.
It does look foul and you're coming up on scheduled maintenance anyway. Who knows if the previous owner took care of it, overheated, etc.
A good flush not only cleans the radiator but also the block and heads.

It's supposed to be Motorcraft Gold, not Motorcraft Brown

Another vote here for changing the fluid. In fact, when buying used cars I change every fluid and put the maintenance list in my hands, not wondering what was done. If the prior owner gives you a nice folder with a documented maintenance history, that would be different.

So I just went to my nearest Tire Kingdom and had the Radiator Flush. Does this look any better? I am asking because I am new to the Mustang community and want to have my car clean and ready as everyone else's in here ..Thanks for the help everyone!!

It looks a little less cloudy/thick, but it's hard to tell in the picture. Part of it just looks like some discoloration of the plastic. As long as you've had it done, I'd say it's good. You could always check the mixture, if you want...I think a tester only costs a few bucks.

To be honest, it looks rather gross. Perhaps it just needs a good cleaning inside. If the photo is just showing shadows, or something, then maybe it is fine. I enclosed a photo of mine with the factory Ford coolant.

Looks like the container is stained brown. But is the 50/50 mix the same color. If not don't worry about it.

As long as you changed it I wouldn't worry about it.

The coolant reservoir gets sediment buildup on the inside, I will assume, since that's where the coolant expands and contracts, with the air in the container drying the wet walls of the container when the coolant is contracted. I've removed the reservoir's on some vehicles and washed them out as well as possible before changing antifreeze.
