Shift ***** for tri ax

I just bought a brand new Tri Ax shifter for my 05, had a hurst, loved the look of the it, but wanted a better shifter, and I hear tri ax is one of the best. The thing is, I hate the steeda **** the sell, and if I put the stock **** back on, it feels different but looks stock, and it feels like i spend almost 300 on nothing, I like to see something for the money I spent. I want to know if there are any cooler ***** out there, or if I can even get a hurst shift ball to fit. What are my options? Thanks

You spent $300 on almost nothing.

The Hurst was the better shifter. Been there done both. As soon as available for my GT500 the Steeda is comming out.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. After comparing the 2 I thought the Steeda offered much more precise throws, and I found it more comfortable than the long Hurst lever. The fact that it's stealthy was also a plus to me.

I have a tri-ax and love it compared to stock. I haven't had or felt a hurst in the s197 stangs so I dont know how it compares?? I know that in all the previous stangs I have owned I always used a hurst and they did a great job. I have also been researching the **** option as I feel that the stock **** doesn't fit my hand well and seems cumbersome when I'm at the track and powershifting. I have large hands but the stock **** seems to large for my taste and seems to be hard to grip in the correct position for powershifting. I was looking at the roush shifter ***** which I think are stock replacement so they should fit on the tri-ax handle.

The Tri-Ax was the first mod I did to my car over two years ago - love it! IMO shifters are like exhaust sounds - to each his own. Regarding shift *****, try www.flameball.com

You could always install the Hurst lever and ball but the shifts will not be as close as the Husrt shifter has the shortest throw. Also Roush offers a shifter ****.
