I just take it like a man and grab the bastard. I'm thinking I'll have a cool burn like a 1-2-3-4-5-R in my palm a-la Raiders of the Lost Arc.
lmao. what a badass. guess that's what we gotta do then.

I'd rather have a pistol grip or straight stick....those jus feel more right in my hand.

There are good things and alot of bad things on the short nubby shifter. Those would look awkward, unless you lengthened it.

Actually after looking at it again its not that short. You may pull it off with a nice grip handle. I personally will leave, its just beautiful.

That shifter looks great (without feeling it). Plastic will keep it cool and metal makes it look sporty/classic. I'm very happy with this and unless it doesn't feel right which I doubt, it will stay till it falls off.

Its good that they changed it to what we see before our eyes now, becuase a chromed one would get flaming hot on a sunny day, and chilling cold on a frosty day(this one i dont worry about much)
This one will still get cold and hot, but not as much as chromed steel. So there a plus btw.

Why? if it that's important to you, find a new mechanic.
