The Shelby toy you can't have...
I was at Shelby-American in Las Vegas this week and caught site of this cool remote controlled '07 Shelby sitting on the floor in front of a real original '68 Shelby Mustang. Those are 12" floor tiles, so that may make the scale around 1/12th or so? I did ask, but was told that was the only one, and it wasn't for sale. Note that it has the original style hood, which is cool, but the newer CS67 style Shelby 10-spoke wheels, which are very cool. Maybe they'll be available on the real car, as if you could actually acquire one? The reproduction wheels for the '05 are not available yet, they told me. Odd, as I've seen some on this site already. Cool museum, but all I could afford was a T-shirt. No cars in my budget.
It looks like 1/10th scale. I used to race 1/10 scale stock cars a few years ago and worked for a large radio control company. I have a friend still in the industry i have sent email looking for info. I will post anything i learn.
I thought that was wierd, also. It's not like it could have been faded... how old could this model be? Here's another shot of it. The interior really is pink. (I would have bought it anyway, though, had it been for sale.)

Nice! I love the GT-R. I wish Ford would offer those!
I picked up this cheap die-cast model at Target for $11......it'll look nice on my desk at work.
