Shelby Expedition and no Shelby Mustang?! WHY?!

A Shelby Expedition?!
WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK. SEMA is here and not one hint of a Shelby Mustang?
What are they thinking?
Go to all the trouble of a modern AC Cobra, then a modern Daytona Coupe (GR-1?), but no Mustang. What a waste!!!!!!!!!
Yes, as you can tell, I'm pissed. This is rediculous.
Yes, those two concepts are awesome cars and to build them is understandable, IF and ONLY if, there's a Shelby Mustang (there's no excuse for wasting time, money, and effort on the Expedition), but without a Mustang, Caroll Shelby and Ford shouldn't have even gotten back together.
Come on guys, get a clue.

Wow Boy!... Easy there... Calm down, we don't need yah flipping out and murdering someone. That wont be good. My guess has always been that the Shelby Mustangs will be released Jan 1st. Ford needs to show something new there so why not show something that will redefine the words Pony Car for a second time in 41 years. You just gotta chill my man, everything will be all good in 2 months.

Look. Let's say that Shelby and Ford finally cut a deal -- that means it will be ford labeled, and there's no reason to pre-show it 1 1/2 years before SVT will be ready to produce it.
This means it is more likely that it will be Ford branded, or at worst, they're spending their time to do major re-engineering work. None of that is necessarily bad. Let's wait until the Detroit AutoShow to get our knickers in a twist ;-)

Shelby Automotive told me that they would probably debut a Shelby Mustang at NAIAS. However, at the time, this was not a Ford-Shelby partnership, but a limited production $$ Shelby model.

The info I got from Shelby was that the Expedition was in the works for Sema, but they really didn't want it to go into production because they really wanted to take on the Mustang! So.... what can we expect?..... There will be a Shelby Mustang! Either it will be built and sold through Ford or they will sell it through their dealers. Either way they have a waiting list and I'm on it!
