I was wondering if anyone had attended this event before. It is a fund-raising party for the museum there. The party will be attended by Carroll Shelby, Bob Bondurant, Lew Spencer, Phil Remington, Chuck Cantwell, Tom Yeager, Amy Boylan and automotive artist Bill Neale. It is $125 per person, autographs extra, but you get an open bar, horse-doovers, and a limited edition poster. The museum itself borders on a religious experience, but it is only $5 to get in at other times. Does this sound worthwhile to y'all, or just an expensive crowded evening? I haven't met Carroll yet, and he aint gettin' younger.

Okay, new question. I was just told that Carroll would not be able to go outside to sign a dash for me or anyone else. Airbags are not allowed in the museum, and both Carroll and Bondurant have had airbags deploy on them while signing, so that's out. How about that little piece between the air vents where Shelby puts the plaque on the SGTs? How do I remove that to get his signature?
