I can't change between cds in the system. Everytime I go to change from 1 cd to the next or eject a cd it says eject error. Is there anything I could do before taking it to Ford?

You probably resolved this by now, and hopefully by not going to the dealer...
I had the same problem. In fact, I think the CD player was cycling through its system, trying to fix the issue, resulting in a dead battery after not using the car for a week.
I was getting DTC's of B1342 and B2406 after running the diagnostic test on the radio/CD. I figured out how to clear the codes, but they re-occurred. Search "Shaker DTC Clear" for info on this.
Easiest fix in the world: disconnect negative lead on battery and leave off for a couple of minutes. After reconnecting, the stereo and CD player works fine!!!
Either resetting the system with the battery disconnect or clearing the DTC codes, or both, solved this problem.
Hope this helps.
