I'm in tire hell and need help!

So I went in for a little OT at work this morning and drove the pony car in. When I walked out to it i notice something sticking in my 3 month old left rear Nitto 555R. Got home and pulled on it with plyers and if i move it around the nitrogen starts to leak out, but nothing if not being touched. My question is, am I screwed and going to have to replace the tire or can drag radials be plugged or patched?

I'm not sure about patching DR's up, but if the puncture wound is too close to the sidewall or on the sideall you'll have to replace it anyway. No road hazzard?

I can't even tell what it is sticking in it. I just know it's not a screw or nail. I haven't driven it much lately and can't think of where I'd of picked something up at. Oh well I guess my wallet will be getting lighter because I doubt it's going to be saveable. Find out Monday when I take it off and run it to the tire shop.

If it is in the sidewall I don't think any reputable shop would plug it. I would replace it without question.

It wasn't in the side wall but it was close to the edge of the tread. Either way I took it in and the shop patched it up. $13 for a patch job was much nicer than dropping $250 for a new tire when that one was brand new!
