I'm sure many of you know this information.

When is the first service indicated for the new GT and what does it entail? If an oil change is not spec'd, at what mileage is the first change recommended, or what mileage are the changes recommended in general if no special provisions are made for the first change?

Thanks.

Normal operating conditions call for 6 months or 5000 miles, special operating conditions call for 3000 miles.

I always have the scheduled service done at the dealer, but I need to document the inbetween service too. I use the My Ford website. You enter the inbetween data and the dealer does the scheduled data.

I also keep deailed records on an Excel document I created. If anyone would like to see it, just PM me. Here is the current one for my Mark VIII.

Here is a link to Ford's 48-page Scheduled Maintenance Guide, which tells you everything that you need to know to keep up with the recommended services. The file is about 3.4MB in size. You can right click and save as, or just click on the link and it will load with Adobe Acrobat.
