Serialization to order time?

How long on average does it take from serialization time to get the mustang? I think it's about a month from what I've seen. I wish it'd be less than a month though.

I see that you got serialized last night too.

My dealer called me today and said that their Ford rep. bumped me up. I am not sure what that means but my dealer said I would have my car by the end of the month.
I am not sure how they are going to pull that off unless my car is being built next week.
I notice that we have almost the same order. Vista Blue.

Nice, yea our orders are very similar. I didn't want to pony up for the leather or the 18's. But that vista blue is going to be awesome. I'm actively planning my ducktail spoiler, blackout panel, and sequential tail lights. I just need to decide what aftermarket stereo I'm going to get. I'm hoping for Sirius with mp3 and aux input options. I've also already have my bra for the car and zaino ready to shine her up!

Looks like this is a thread for those who got serialized last night!
As soon as I found out, I looked through a bunch of posts to see what the average wait time was after getting serialized and it looks like it takes anywhere from one to two months.

Yeah, it's been a rough wait. I originally tried to order in April but the two dealers around here were already out of their 05 allocation so it's been a really long wait for me. I'm glad I had to wait for 06 though because I like Vista Blue a lot better than Sonic Blue.
Mine is pretty close to yours. Vista Blue GT Deluxe, 5 speed, IUP, active anti theft, shaker 1000, side air bags, x-plan. My priority is pretty high, 40.

I hope to many people don't get VB. I don't want my car to be the same color as all the other Mustangs around here. I think I've only seen one SB so I don't think I have anything to worry about.
I almost passed on the side air bags but then my conscience got the better of me and I would have felt like a cheap large guy in Austin Powers if we had gotten in a wreak and one of use was hurt because I didn't get them.

Your insurance could be lower with side air bags.
Welcome to the expecting GT waiting room.

Mine hopefully will be here a month from serialization (dealer said 19th), Cyoon, since you live in CA like me, it will probably be a month as long as there are no problems with your car.

DonnaR - The current system I use can be up to a week behind. I have asked for access to a newer system that has up to the minute tracking information. Should be a week or two until I get authorized, hopefully. As for tracking, the 800# analyst can get you a railcar# that I can track for you.
