I recently bought a used SCT x3 3000 tuner.it is married and has Lund tunes.my car is a 2005 Ford Mustang Gt.my question is if I plug it in do they have specific tunes for that model in them.Lund doesn't have tunes for my year and don't want to install a tune that isn't for my car.im new to all this.i do no I'll have to have it unlocked first.

 

if it is married to another car, it won't work on your car until it is un-married . . . which I believe means the stock tune, for that other car, which is in the tuner, has to be loaded back to the other car

other than that, I think SCT can un-marry it for a fee; but might be close to the price of a new one

the SCT tuner comes with canned tunes which are known for not being very good, you might give them a try, but again you need to un-marry the tuner first
