Which means, they are still building GTs and V6s etc..
and this is all part of normal automotive production.

Mentioning to Galaxie as well that.... 2 plants (are or soon will be) making the 4.6 3v.
Essex in Windsor and Romeo in Michigan.
This could also coincide with Johns story of 'shortage' reason being why they aren't up to full speed yet (amount other things).
Which means, they are still building GTs and V6s etc..
and this is all part of normal automotive production.
It happens....
With the internet nowadays...everyone can read anything about everything...
Bottom Line,
The cars are being built as we speak, the cars are coming....
No worries boys and girls....

On the Autoweek web site today, they have this story about some of Ford's '05 models being delayed:
http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=100768
Conspicuous by its absence, is the Mustang. If the BON story about production stoppage on Mustangs were legit, you'd think it would be mentioned in an Autoweek story on the same subject. More proof to me that the BON article is garbage. :notnice:

In case you naysayers didn't see 2MustangJohn's latest post on the Job1 topic:
For those of you who don't know 2MustangJohn, he is a production line worker who is on the final assembly line. He should know what's running down the line. Sounds like the BON story was a bit exaggarted, if not completly false.
Anyways, yes, we are still building Mustang GT's and I haven't heard of any problems with the motor, we have stopped production a couple of times in the last month but for no more than one day and then had the issue resolved(vendors).

There's probably more stop and go issues with the production line (vendors)more than anything else .And I would bet the firsts couple weeks of production all those cars would get inspected with a fine tooth comb to see if anything is wrong before sending them to the dealer .I can see why Ford would wait untill the end of sept to celebrate the production of the new mustang ,the minor problems if any would be fixed by then and the factory would be up to full speed as well prices would be out for the new car .
