Mike, these guys dont get to me. I am all for personal opinions, but also dont like blanket statements. If you say you dont like pink Mustangs, alright, I can get behind that.

TY Lalo, I was just watching the 50th Anniversary of PlayBoy and saw that Stang. I actually LIKE it.

 

I have seen a couple of pix of custom purple stangs, and what you want to do sounds amazing..... you gotta post pix, needless to say.

 

Anyone know if there is a certain color I should get if I want to have my car repainted? Seeing as I can't get my sonic blue and have to order an 06 instead, I was thinking about getting it painted in Dark Highland Green, which happens to be the color I wanted all along.

 

Bill, talk to your shop. I talked to them before ordering mine, and they told me that I should start with black. So, thats what I have. .

 

I saw a Bronzish Golden 05 parked over at UCR, man it was sweet. It's cool seeing so many modded 05's

i was thinking of keeping the silver on the bottom of mine and doing the legend lime on top kinda like the yellow and black one that someone posted on this forum awile back

 

I personally don't like it either, but...it's not something new, Ford offered it in the past for the 'Stang (I am talking the classic (=1964 1/2 - 1973), namely model year 1967 and 1969, both colors named "Playboy Pink" and available only on special order...), here a link for all the original colors for the 1964 1/2-1973 Mustang:

I personally believe Ford should offer more "crazy" colors like it used to do in that
golden era...More choices = more fun ...

Ok... so I even had purple written on my key tags from the dealership and someone asked if that was my purple Mustang but the are obviously color blind. Even IF it may appear purplish...which I in no way admit, it is still far more blue than purple...or maybe just a very masculine kinda purple.
