Last year I sold my '94 Mustang GT "Sally" after I purchased my 2005 Mustang GT.

I didn't think i'd ever see "Sally" again but I was grocery shopping and low and behold there she was in the parking lot - same license plate.

I saw the new owner of my old car get out of "Sally" and for a while I thought about speaking to him but I decided not to.

It was sort of bitter sweet like seeing your old girlfriend with somebody else.
What would I have said anyhow?
"How's the old girl treating you"?
"Hows' the ride"?

Oh well, i love my new ride but it was a strange moment. Thought I would share that.

Cool story. I know what you mean. I still haven't seen my '03. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I have a feeling I'll be the same way.

I never saw my 94 GT again after I traded her in on the 1999 GT. I was kinda sad about it too.

I have yet to see my old 02...probably won't...but ya never know.

Interesting story too. Guy I know, his brother wanted it.
Already had a deal in the works on another car, bought it...a week later...juiced it in the rain around a corner...BAMMMMM

Glad he didn't buy my car..it woulda broke my heart.

Sold my '95 GT to a buddy. Reluctantly. B) I say reluctantly because I live near him, and will feel sort of bad if/when something goes wrong with it. It's actually his wife who drives it mostly. Fortunately, at least in 3 months, it's been a good car for them and given them no problems. But, it sure was weird seeing him drive it up my driveway a couple weeks back when he came over to shoot the breeze...

I saw my 88 for a while after I sold her and wanted to cry every time! The girl that bought her, TRASHED her. Poor baby. Never saw the 95 again after I traded her... but I do see the 00 about once a week cause the guy that bought her works in the parking garage where I park. I miss her... and he's treating her good. Always clean and shiny anyway. BUT I wouldn't take her back if it meant having to get rid of Sunny. If I could afford both, it would be a different story tho.

I will. I felt the same way when I saw my old 1992 Escort which I traded for my current Mustang back in 2001.

No, they'll say "there is that slow, boring, uninspiring Japanese car I couldn't WAIT to get rid of"

I wouldn't ever say that about my Camry.
Slow? Mine have 188 hp which is 48 hp more than Taurus had from the same engine (3.0L V6) at the same time (back in 1994).
Ugly? Maybe a little, but interior looks a lot better than on my Mustang, that's for sure.

I sold my last car, a 97 Eagle Talon AWD, to a guy at a local dealership, just a few months ago, prior to buying my new Stang. Often times, I'll see my old car parked outside the dealership and I can't help but get nostalgic. We had some good times! Even smoked a few Stangs (not 05s of course). He he.
