Saw My First Converitble (No Pics, Sorry)
Passing through Raleigh, NC today and decided to stop by Crossroads Ford. Had an 05 GT Conv with IUP (Black w/Parchment int) sitting on the showroom floor, marked as sold. Salesman made an off hand comment that they could maybe talk the person out of it if I "really" wanted it. Won't be there long if anyone wants to see it. They were letting people sit in it. Pictures do not do the convertible justice.
Long time reader -- I think the 05 forum has been my home page since Dec 03. I experienced the 2 times the site went down for extended periods and I felt like I had lost a friend. Brad, you are my hero for making this site happen. Offer my thanks to all the contributers that make this such an interesting site. I feel selfish for not contributing myself.
My wife has the ability to tune out my obcessive need for an 05 convertible but I think she's almost ready to give the OK. I have a boat I have to get rid of first. May have to wait and buy an 06 this fall. Even that may be a little too soon for her. Finished making our last car payments about a year ago and it feels kind of nice.
Go ahead and slam me for not having a camera with me. It's a little too far for me to go back today. I know we have a few members from the Raliegh area that regularly contribute to the site. Maybe someone can stop by.
Thanks for a great place to call home!

Which Baltimore dealer? I'm in the area. Also if I had a pre-ordered car and they were letting the general public sit in it I would be having a fit over it. :nono:
